SOURCE: 2006 Chevy Trailblazer - winding noise
I went to the dealer to check on the price for the idle pulley and they said that was waht the problem was. The quote from them was $99 for Labor and $38 for the pulley..Solution $18.00 at the parts store and 20 min from my hubby and it is fixed. The only problem with the pulley form the auto parts is that the original washer won't fit in the hole so we had to but a seperate washer. Runs great now I just have to find a solution to the gas gauge and fuel sensor.

SOURCE: I have a chevy venture transmission slip
You can try a fluid and filter change and see if it helps. But from your description, it sounds like it's
time for a rebuilt(or used)transmission. Sorry to be
the bearer of bad news. Good luck.
SOURCE: I am losing transmission fluid but can't find a leak????? where can it be going
I take it that it is an automatic transmission, if it is draining that much fluid a month and you can't find any outside leaks it could mean there is an internal leak somewhere. If you see a pink milkshake color in your coolant then it could be the radiator transmission cooler which I believe wont cause an outside leak so you can start from there. It is located and is part of the radiator. Just follow the transmission cooler line and it will lead you the possible problem.
Testimonial: "Thanks.. If I do find it in the coolant.. is this an expensive fix and is it something that I can do myself or does it have to go to a mechanic or dealership?"
SOURCE: my chevy trailblazer wont shift from park to drive.
chances are the shift cable is broke at the transmission, I drilled the rod out of the shift lever and ran a shoulder bolt through the shift lever and cable end and finished up with a lock nut.
