Black is ground......
you may have more than 1 red wire, the heaviest / thickest is the posstive wire ( all red ), the yellow are accessory wires, and there should be another 1,and if my memory serves me correctly,,, the wire colour is white with a pink/red tracer.hope this helps.

I have a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo that I can't get it to start. It isn't the starter or any of it's component. When I insert the key it siTmply won't turn. I suspect this has something to do with...

COMPONENTS INVOLVED TI THE STARTER CIRCUIT ARE : IGNITION SWITCH, STARTER RELAY IN THE POWER DISTRIBUTION BOX, NEUTRAL SAFETY SWITCH, [ ON LEFT SIDE OF THE TRANSMISSION ] & MOST LIKELY, A SOLENOID ON THE STARTER & THE STARTER.
SOMETHING YOU CAN TRY. PUT THE TRANSMISSION IN PARK HOLD THE IGNITION SWITCH IN START POSITION, AT THE SAME TIME, HAVE SOMEONE TAP ON THE STARTER WITH A MEDIUM SIZE HAMMER. IF THE STARTER TURNS OR TRIES TO TURN IT EITHER LOW VOLTAGE DUE TO BAD OR DIRTY CONNECTIONS, OR A BAD BATTERY OR A BAD STARTER. ALSO, IF THE JEEP HAS AN AFTER MARKET ALARM, THERE IS A RELAY BEHIND THE DASH THAT IS CAUSING THE PROBLEM. ONE WIRE ,YELLOW WITH A DARK BLUE STRIPE, CONNECTED TO A SMALL BLACK RELAY THAT IS INTERRUPTING THE STARTER CIRCUIT. IF IT IS THERE, YOU WILL NEED TO RECONNECT THE YELLOW/DARK BLUE WIRE BACK TOGETHER. YOU MIGHT WANT TO CHECK THIS FIRST. GOOD LUCK.

Wont turn over

have your starter checked. if you force start your engine with a weak battery, the starter current draw increases and overheats the starter commutator especially with a big engine.

I need electrical plan for pluging my radio ,for toyota echo 2005

If you are attempting to install an aftermarket radio Don't butcher the plugs on your Toyota ... simply go to a car stereo shop and buy an adapter plug for $10-$20 then wire it to your new radio ... then just plug them together (the wires on the adapter are marked) You'll likely need a dash kit too ... save yourself from a lot of frustration time and money! ....

There are 5 wires that I am concerned with here. 2 12V+ Wires (White and White/Red) 2 Ignition Wires (Black/Yellow and Black/Orange) and 1 Starter Wire (Black/White). The key here is gonna be alot of patience (no pun intended here). Email me at my email address with the answers to the following questions. 1.) When you turn the key what happends? 2.) The ignition key harness in the steering column easy to get too?

Sincerely,
