SOURCE: key is stuck

I had this problem too. You have to make sure on the shifter that the knob towards the dash is out. You know the one you hold in while you move the shifter into gear.

SOURCE: Perform Service Light comes on

This is a setting that can be reset to 2000 miles - when it counts down to 0 you get the "Perform Service" alert. I believe if you use the Step function you will see "XX miles to Service" Use the reset button to set this back to 2000.

SOURCE: 2006 Chrysler Pacifica Auotmatic Liftgate

Yes new gas shocks on the lift gate will fix your problem. I had the same problem on my 2005 Pacifica and when it hit my head- I came up with the solution.

Good Luck,

Car stuck in park

I have run into this problem on a lot of Chrysler cars. The first thing is to try the shifter release this is located on the console, look in your manual and it will show you how to do this , if this still does not work then you will need a new shifter. there is a small plastic part inside the shifter that breaks. there is no replacement part. the shifter need to be replaced. i would check your dealer for any warranty info on this.

Windshield Washer Pump connection to the water bottle

Take the rubber hose loose at the nozzle, try the washer. if water comes out then the little hole in the nozzle is stopped up. Use a small needle or stickpin to clean it out while someone works the washer switch.

My 2007 chrysler pacifica wont shift out of park.

SHIFTER LOCKED IN PLACE

  1. Remove the instrument panel cover below the steering column, then remove the steering column shrouds to gain access to the brake transmission shift interlock (BTSI) solenoid. The solenoid is part of the interlock cable assembly.
  2. Disconnect the wire connector from the rear of the BTSI solenoid.
  3. Insert the ignition key and turn it to the ON position.
  4. With the brakes applied, try moving the shifter out of the PARK position.
    • If the lever now moves freely in and out of PARK, perform the Circuit Test below.
    • If the shift lever still does not move from the PARK position, remove the BTSI solenoid from the shift lever assembly. If the shift lever now moves freely in and out of the park position, the BTSI solenoid is faulty and the interlock cable must be replaced. If the shift lever still does not move from the park position, the problem is in the shift lever assembly or the ignition interlock cassette
