Question about 1999 Dodge Intrepid
So I just got to 100k miles about a month ago, I'm just over 101k now, and on my way to work I notice that my automatic is having a bit of trouble. The shifting is really jerky, and it'll rarely shift up or down. When I first start the car it's in first but once I start to drive it jerks into second and stays there, every so often it'll kick up to third, but once I slow down it drops into second until I restart the car!
This could be a number of things but my 99 ES had a bad speed sensor that caused similar problems. Your best to have a mechanic check and replace if needed.
Don't drive it too much before getting this fixed.
