This is a safety feature that shuts off the fuel pump if the car takes a ... 1994 FordTaurus 3.0, my car has 46000 miles on the odometer, ... I stop for usually an hour then head out again about 1/2 hour down the road the car dies.

On the top of the engine U will see a metal tube that is the fuel supply to the fuel injectors, it has round sockets that fit over the tops of the fuel njectors, on that rail is test port, it looks like a metal valve stem, you will need to hook up a fuel pressure test guage to that test port, you may be able to borrow one from Auto Zone or Kragen auto free, hook it up and drive the car until it stops then see if it has fuel pressure.

Find your coil, wiggle the wires going into the top of it, should be two or three wire connector. If your engine shuts down or runs worse while wiggling, replace connector.

Have you checked the fuel pressure when running?
Is the fuel pressure correct?
Perhaps your fuel pressure regulator is bad, or the fuel pump relay is going bad.

Security may be set. Shut the car up and lock it. use the key to open it and turn on the ignition. this usually resets the security. Looks like you said you replaced the PCM. Did you have it programmed to the car. You have to on Fords. This could be the reason the security is set. The two modules don't recognize each other.
