Check the distributor for spark and make sure the engine grounds are ok.

any car made after 94 must have 02 sensor ,start at exhaust manifold ta engine and follow it down at some point you will see something looking like a spark plug sticking out of exhaust pipe before the cat and a second 02 sensor after cat .

Changed timing belt 94 civic ex 1.6, now wont start


first make shure the fireing order is correct 1 3 4 2, make shure you have the timeing set right

92 honda civic ex starts but won't stay running - replaced relay


well not completely sure but would suggest first giving it a shot of ether in the airbox to see if starts better. to rule out a fuel issue. then ck into distributor. have you ck'd it for spark? is it weak? is it possible the timing belt jumped time?

yes indeed number one see if there is any spark, if no spark look at your distributor roter first, i suggest you replace this as well if you haven't already.. you can pick them up at any auto shop for like less than 10 bucks. if it is a second hand distributor that has been sitting in a junk yard for months, chances are one of the wires are corroded or something.. get a new one if so they are only like 30 bucks and i think you get a discount if you give them your old one for the core.
