I own a suzuki vitara 1997. Is it possible to convert from sefi to mpfi? how much would it cost me?

Yes it is possible to convert...
You will need a MPFI cylinder head and manifolds along with a MPFI wiring loom and computer.

I have put a 16Valve 1.6 Vitara motor in my Samurai/Sierra.

Car repair manual for a 1997 suzuki vitara v6 2ltr petrol 24v


Haynes don't cover that engine. I've found a copy of the H25 engine manual which is similar to the H20 engine we have. If you search for SQ416 in google you'll find a copy you can buy or if you're lucky you'll find a free download somewhere like I did!! :-) It has helped me loads.

Assuming the terminals are hooked up correctly, are your cable ends corroded? Are you sure the fittings are clean and tight? If it was hooked up backward check your fuse box and hope it only fried some fuses.

i personaly think u should not mess with it yourself unless you are a trany expert too many little pieces that could get lost and cost you more money take it in have an expert tell you your problem.
