Question about 2003 Nissan Altima
Fob worked well till yesterday. While in a shop, I saw my headlights flash several times--I was no where near the car and no where near the fob. After that the fob will only operate the trunk lift and the horn. It won't lock or unlock doors.
How do I avoid this sabotage in the future?
How to a reprogram the locking feature?
Hello and thank you for using FixYa!
Most likely the remote has failed. If you have another remote for the car, try it. All features should work on the spare remote. You will need to get another remote and program it to correct this. Here is a link on how to program it.
