There are a couple of thing that cause the bulbs to fail, on e and very common is to touch the glass part of them, the oils in the skin will cause the glass to shatter, the other and most common is moisture getting into the headlight, this is easy to detect, the inside of the headlight lens will be fogged out or you will see water inside, ever had water touch hot glass? it shatters, this is caused by leaks in the electric weld seam, the only fiz is to replace the headlight lens assemblies. You can buy these in the after market fairly cheap from Partstrain.com, I have used there parts and they are very good quality.

SOURCE: 2006 Trailblazer Headlight Replacement

There are not two rods, there are two clips one under fender weild and one right above the light on top of the cover. Pull up on these two clips and pull the light forward a couple of inches and remove the dust cover. You have to take the air filter cover off to be able to reach in and replace the light. It took me about 10 min to figure these out but hope it helps out.

SOURCE: how do I align low beam headlight in 2006 honda

The adjustment screws/nuts should be located either on the top of the headlamp assembly, behind the headlamp assembly, or near the frame rail by the radiator support.

You will have vertical adjustment screws for each independent beam (separate highs and separate lows, but will be same screw if highs and lows are the same bulb). You may also have additional horizontal adjustment screws as well

Park your car on a level ground 30 feet from a wall and measure the height from the ground to the bulb and mark on a wall (do this for highs beams and low beams if the bulbs are separate, if highs and lows are the same bulb, only do it for the lows)

For Low Beams: If the headlights read VOR, then aim the brightest part or cutoff part just below the mark on the wall. If it says VOL or nothing, aim them 2 inches below the mark on the wall.

For High Beams (if separate from low beams): Aim the headlight directly at the line you marked on the wall.

Why does my high beam only works on right side1998 nissan altima

If the fuse blows violently (i.e its pretty black inside the fuse as opposed to just the fuse link being melted) then its a dead short to ground. Follow the hot wire from the switch to the light, someplace its contacting metal and shorting out.

Where is my driver side headlight fuse located for my 2006 altima

There is a fuse for the high beam and a separate fuse for the low beam. Nissan came out with what I call kind of a hidden fuse panel which is located on the right (passenger) side of the vehicle. Nissan calls it an IPDM (intelligent power distribution module). It is located under the coolant resivour (can't spell). In any case below are some pictures and instructions on how to get to and remove it. Also is a picture of the fuse layout that is in there. The fuse for the high beam is the one marked with a red arrow and the fuse for the low is marked with a yellow arrow. If you need a larger picture(s), feel free to email me at [email protected] with all your information and I will be happy to send it to you. If both high and low beams are out you may be looking at a wiring issue. Hope this helps.....

Where is the fuse located for a 2002 nissan altima drivers side low beam? THANKYOU

There is no fuse for a low beam. If the high beams are working and the low beams aren't then it blew the low beam filament.

Both low beam head lights blow frquently

check for water getting into the housing. Normally lights will last for 2-3 years. Could be cracked lens, seal coming apart.
