Typically they are located near the oil filter. Your oil filter should be located under the passenger side of the engine. The oil pressure switch (if you have an oil light) or the oil pressure sending unit (if you have an oil pressure gauge) should be right above it.
You will have to get a pry bar in between the Trans and half shaft/ axle and use pushing force to remove. I've used leg power on certain cars to remove axle
Hi, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but in the case of KIA I would VERY VERY definitely NOT PUT ATF OR ANY OTHER FLUID EXCEPT WHAT KIA SUPPLIES. Not only would you void the warranty on the transmission. But an incompatible fluid may chemically attack the seals in the transmission thus destroying it. If you happened to have put it in. DON'T DRIVE THE CAR. AND HAVE THE TRANSMISSION FLUSHED CLEAN. Hope your having a Happy New Year Mark
Do you mean number 2 cylinder? if so it is the second one in from the front of the engine and the front of the engine is the end where the drive belts are and the back of the engine is where the transmission is
The simplest approach is to siphon the transmission fluid from the fill
tube. There are several reasonably priced hand pumps on the market that
will do the task. You will get about two quarts of fluid out of a warmed
up transmission. Be sure to get the correct transmission fluid from a
Kia or Hyundi dealer. Save the receipts for warranty purposes. There is a
transmission drain plug under the transmission but its placement is
difficult to reach as it is situated over a frame member. Also removing
this plug will spill fluid all over you and the garage floor.
