Possible clutch pedal hydrallics. If the clutch pedal has alot of freeplay before pressure,it will not produce enough travel to throwout clutch pressure plate which needs to fully disengage to switch gears while running.

2001 Saturn manual stick shift just popped and started wobbling loosely while i was shifting from 1st to 2nd. My clutch works but, the stick shift won't go into any gear

sounds like your washers/bearings/spacers finally degraded. To make sure, pop off the little flexy cover. You will see a linkage that goes straight into the transmission. If the bearings there (the little white plastic ones) look eaten up, that's most likely your problem.

My stick shift wont go into any gears, it only moves forward and backwards. this happened when the stick was being moved into reverse. what happened to my stick shift?

it sounds like the shift linkage came off the shifter, pull the shifter boot up and you should be able to get to the linkage

1998 Saturn SC1 manuel stick is hard to shift into 1st & 2nd gear

Try to double clutch the clutch pedal. How to double clutch; push the clutch in moving the stick to neutral, then release the clutch and then push it back in and shift into first or second gear. If it works then it is not the shift linkage and could be a clutch adjustment. First how far do you have to release the clutch pedal until the clutch plate starts to engage? If only an inch or so the clutch pedal needs to be adjusted, which is an easy fix (this is more common). The other possible problems could be the clutch plate, throwout bearing of syncros could be bad. If it is one of the previous problems double clutching should buy you some time.

Hard shift into any gear after clutch pressure loss No previous problem with shifting prior to this , with good clutch pressure and smooth shifting into all gears.

clutch plate is worn out cluch is good just needs cluch plate but you might as well buy the clutch kit and change it all to avoid future problems

you have a clutch hydraulic problem. have the clutch master cylinder replaced and the linkage adjusted if neccessary. you will be money ahead to have them replace the slave cylinder at the same time.

93' saturn, i was going into second gear and now i can push the clutch in but can't put into any gear

This sounds like your shift fork or throw out bareing is broken. Or it may be your Clutch cable broke.

What this code means is the trans is slipping, the most likely cause is internal parts failure or shift solenoid issue for 2nd gear, but based on what I know of this code you will end up getting the trans overhauled.
