I attempted to recharge the AC. I first pulled a vacuum to 30". Started to recharge, low side pressure approx 20#, high side pressure approaching 400 PSi and tripping on high head pressure. What's...

I would say a restriction somewhere.. Likely the expansion valve itself. It should be located in the tubing just before the evaporator. You will have to recover that freon you just put in, pulls the valve and check it.

I need to no how to add freon to my 1998 ford explorer and what type of freon does it take

Adding freon to a car requires connecting the low-side service valve first, followed by the high side, recovering the existing freon, evacuating the system of air and recharging the system with new freon.
You can use R-134a refrigerant for 1998 Ford Explorer. You can get all parts necessary for Ford Explorer at one place at http://www.carpartswarehouse.com/carparts/Ford/A-C_Condenser.html

Were is the spot to put freon x-type 2003 jaguar 2.5

While facing the from of the car, look to your left side (passenger side) all the way to the back there should be two lines; its gonna not the last lower one but the second higher one. The refrigerant's nozzle should fit. Just be Sure that the car is on and the ac is to the max on its lowest setting. This should allow the nozzle tip to click right in.

I want to know wat kind of ac freon my expadition

It uses the 134 A which is a replacement for freon, but is not freon. It is supposed to be more environmentally friendly, but is not as efficient when it comes to cooling as the old Freon 12. It is illegal in the US for you to have freon in your possession, only authorized shops are allowed to have it and install it.

How do you replace the compressor? Is there an online mannual? 2003

Physically changing the compressor is easy. Just two freon lines, a belt, one clutch wire, and a few bolts.
But first you need to capture the old freon, which needs a vacuum pump and tank.
It is technically illegal to just vent it, and it is dangerous because of the pressure and cold. (wear eye protection and gloves)
You also need to add the right amount of the right type of oil, depending on the type of freon (a 2003 should be R134a).
But instructions should come with the new compressor.
Then you need to add the correct amount of freon.
If you saved it, then you just put that back in.
Otherwise the instructions should tell you how much to add.

A?C BLOWING HOT AIR

Make sure your system is fully charged with r134. The low pressure switch won't allow it to activate if there isn't enough in it.

2003 Ford Explorer CD Player (Single to 6 disc)

You will have to go to Best Buy, or whatever your nearest audio installation place is, and request wiring harnesses for the type of radio you are putting in, and also the type of vehicle, I believe you can put any aftermarket stereo in any vehicle, as long as it fits in the dashboard. Hope it helps.
