Check transmission fluid level -and gear selector cable if good than either solenoid ----or internal failure which a mechanic will have to diagnose
U have transmission issues. And unless you are a dynamite DIY er you are in need of some serious help from a tranny specialist.

Depends if the engine is 3.0 or a 2.2?
3.0 purge is on the top, back side of the intake. Black, cylinder. Looks the same on a 2.2, but is located next to the air filter.

Here is the definition of the code in GM manual:
P0128 - Coolant Thermostat Below Thermostat Regulating Temperature, this indicates the engine is running cold, u need a thermostat
