I would suggest taking out ALL the plugs. The engine will turn over much faster and not drain the battery. You may find that the fuel in the engine has become diluted with water. This turning over without plugs will do a couple of things: a)free up and lubricate everything.
b) give the fuel pump the greatest chance of getting fuel through to the cylinders, c) purge some stale fuel out of the engine. You should be able to smell petrol vapour once it's coming through, albeit feintly.
c)Give you chance to check the spark on each plug.
NOTE THE LOCATION OF EACH PLUG LEAD! If these get swapped round, it will never start until they are corrected!

Pull out a spark plug and plug it in to the spark plug wire, then use a jumper wire to ground the hooked part of the plug to ground have an assistant crank over the engine while you observe the spark plug for a blue or purple spark if no spark is present or the spark is yellow or white there is an ignition problem and that will be the issue to be addressed.

Peugeot 306 problem

Thes have a weak point with the pump in the tank. It is under a cap under the rear seat, get someone to turn the ignition on and listen if no noise give it a tap and see if it whirrs, slacken a pipe on the filter and see if there is pressure, if not the pumps are available from factors or on line.

Re: peugeot 306 engine not starting after being hit in the front bumper

how hard was your car hit?? is it petrol or diesel? if its petrol the first thing that pops to mind is that, under the bonnet near the back (cant remember what side) you'll see a big red button, press it and try agaijn.. this is a knock sensor for if you ever have a crash... ive set one off just by parking and bumpin the car in front
