How do i fix this my Ford focus 2000 broken top off oil filler cap, how do i get the rest out?

Aftermarket EVAP hardware non-conforming to specifications Canister vent (CV) solenoid stuck open EVAP canister purge valve stuck closed, or canister damaged EVAP canister tube, EVAP canister purge outlet tube or EVAP return tube disconnected or cracked, or canister is damaged Fuel filler cap missing, loose (not tightened) or the wrong part Loose fuel vapor hose/tube connections to EVAP components Purge sensor or FTP sensor is out of calibration or has failed I would say that your gas cap is a good place to start.

P0457 FORD - EVAP Control System Leak Detected (Fuel Filler Cap Loose/Off)
EVAP control system has a very large leak such as fuel filler cap fell off, EVAP control system does not operate properly.

Vehicles that meet enhanced evaporative requirements utilize a vacuum-based evaporative system integrity check. The evap system integrity check uses a Fuel Tank Pressure Transducer (FTPT), a Canister Vent Solenoid (CVS) and Fuel Level Input (FLI) along with the Vapor Management Valve (VMV) or Electric Vapor Management Valve (EVMV) to find 0.040" diameter or larger evap system leaks. Federal vehicles can utilize a 0.040" leak check rather than the 0.020" leak check required for California vehicles (click over pic for zoom).



Symptoms:
- Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
- Possible a noticeable fuel odor caused by the release of fuel vapors

Possible causes:
- Missing fuel filler cap
- Incorrect fuel filler cap used
- Fuel filler cap remains open or fails to close
- Foreign matter caught in fuel filler cap

Possible solution:
- Retight or replaced fuel tank filler cap

you just look at the dip stick ,give it a wipe then check again if it needs oil take the filler cap off and put some in any engine oil do as long as its got oil it will be fine ,from the bottom mark to the top mark is about a litre of oil.

check for a loose fuel cap or a rust hole at the top of the filler neck. causing a loss of pressure/vacuum.

P0457 - EVAP Control System Leak Detected (Fuel Filler Cap Loose/Off) A fuel tank pressure change greater than a minus (-) 7 inches of H 2 0 in 30 seconds has occurred after refueling; or there is excessive purge (fuel vapor) flow greater than 0.06 pounds per minute.

• Fuel filler cap not installed on refueling (storing continuous memory DTC) and "check Fuel Cap" light may also be illuminated.
• Fuel filler cap missing, loose or cross-threaded.

Check for missing fuel filler cap or integrity of the cap. If OK, clear continuous memory DTCs and re-initiate EVAP Emission Running Loss Monitor Drive Cycle.

it is located on the drier (acumulator) under the right fender

Its usually on top of the gear box and there is usually a black or grey plastic top you can take off.

use fords recommemdation 5w-20 oil

Easiest way to find the PCV on a 2000 ZX3 (ZTEC engine)is to stand directly in front of the engine and look at the right side of the oil filler cap. From there, approx 10 inches directly below the the right side of the cap, you will see a black rubber hose/tube (3/4 inches)inserted into a rubber grommet--the PCV valve!! If you were to follow the hose/tube back through the emission components, you would find it connects to the lower rear of the throttle body.

You really need an inspection pit as the car needs to be level. Unscrew filler cap from front face of gearbox ( carefull though as there is a blanking cap as well and it is the one furthest from engine) The oil level should be between 5mm and 10mm below bottom edge of filler plug)

• drain oil using allen key plug underneath gearbox till all oil is drained refit use new seal if old 1 is damaged then look at front of g/box quater of the way up is another allen key plug remove fill with new oil till it starts to run out hole refit plug and ur done
