SOURCE: Airbags deployed
You have to disconnect the battery, replace the air bag modules (air bag modules are the things that explode in your face) and the crash sensors and the control unit or module that came with it. Reconnect the battery and the car should start. Hope this is helpful.
SOURCE: how do i reset airbags
well firstly, did they make airbags in 1949? did they make camaros in 1949? lol guess it was a typo, If you have replaced the airbags, hopefully you did this with the battery disconnected, if you didn't and they didn't deploy, then you were lucky, many injuries have occurred with people replacing and connecting them with the power still connected. Now as for the light, unfortunaltly there is not a safer method other than to take it to a dealer to check and reset the codes, ot costs about $45, but a small price to pay for peace of mind.

The passenger side airbag is a lot easier then driver side. Take the glove box out and you will see two 10mm bolts holding it in place. When you open the passenger side front door, remove the panel on the side of the dash and you will see yellow connectors. The 1 closest to the front is attached to the air bag, it is clipped into the frame. Just pull it loose and take it out and your done. For the Driver side, it takes a skinny T27 to remove the two star bolts, then just disconnect the horn red clip and ground and install new airbag. The module is located under the passenger seat, underneath the carpet. Kinda stupid but thats where its at. You also need to replace the front impact sensor located behind the grille on the back side of the metal bar to each side. Follow the hood latch down. Also just to make sure, you know to disconnect the battery before you do all this. You don't want new airbags to accidentally deploy.

PARTS THAT MUST BE REPLACED FOLLOWING DEPLOYMENT
After a collision with frontal air bag deployment, replace the following components. If you detect any damage to the mounting points or mounting hardware, repair or replace the mounting points and mounting hardware as needed:
* Driver steering wheel air bag [AIRBAG,STEERING WHEEL]
* Passenger instrument panel air bag, if deployed [AIRBAG,INSTRUMENT PNL]
* Inflatable restraint sensing and diagnostic module (SDM), if SDM has DTC B0052 56 [MODULE,AIRBAG CONTROL]
* Front and/or side impact sensors [AIRBAG SENSOR,FRONT; AIRBAG SENSOR,QTR PANEL]
* Driver/Passenger seat side air bag, if deployed [AIRBAG,FRONT SEAT]
* Seat back cover on if side seat air bag is deployed
* Driver/Passenger seat belt anchor and/or retractor pretensioners
* Replace any seat belt system that was in use during the collision serious enough to deploy any automatic restraint device such as air bags and seat belt pretensioners
There are three buses and two modules if the SDM is not sending a signal to the PCM. Then those modules must be checked.
Ok so to simply fire up the engine again there is no way to do this without replacing every sensor and fuse in the system? Car was a roll over want to fire the engine prior to taking it out of car any way to bypass these sensors?
What fuel pump system is in that? Some have dual systems.
