This does help for the relay, but I had to do a wire elimination for the 7 color halo around the bulbs. Thanks.

These are the lights I have. They have a multicolor ring around the outside of the lens. The 2 main bulb wires are white(+) and black(-) easy. But there are a series of 4 wires at the end of a male plug where the factory harness is suppose to attach. I have self diagnosed and eliminated these wires just moments ago. They are, from left to right; 4, White wire (RED color)3, Blue wire (Blue color) 2, Black (common ground) 1, Red wire (Green color)The combination of these will give me up to 7 different colors.

Fog light install

Yes you can, if by fog lights you mean after market ones., Just takes a switch, wire, 40 amp fuse and 5 pin relay, soldering iron, wiring conduit, sharp edge to bare wire, wiring diagram and some insulation tape.

Location of foglight wiring harness

The Easiest Way is to Get the Wiring Harness Diagram with the Colors and Verify that you plugged the Fog Lights into the Correct Harness. I once had a FORD that had a Fuse BOX that had a FOG LIGHT and No Power to that Fuse.

Make sure you test the Fuse at the Box and then Trace the wires and if the Switch was wired at the Factory, you should be all set

I need the wiring diagram for a 2006 ford f150 xlt super crew headlight in order to wire oem fog light harness to headlight harness to get my fog lights to work.

This is the diagram for the fog lamps ( headlamp is a different cell ).
If you are trying to add them to the existing wiring, do not expect the headlamp switch to cab fuse panel wiring to be there ( that is usually what is missing when you can find the fog lamp connectors under the front of the truck ).

File Save as so you can magnify it with the JPEG viewer you use.

I was installing an after market Pioneer CD Player into a 1993 Suzuki Swift. I installed it with all the right wiring and everything was working fine with the stereo. Once I turned the headlights on, that...

The adapter harness for the radio is probably not wired correctly. I'll bet you also have no tail lights. You probably wired the harness so that the illumination circuit for the factory radio is wired to the wrong terminal of the new radio, thus the problem occuring when you turned on the headlamp switch. I have seen this many times when someone is trying to wire a radio adapter harness without having access to the factory wiring harness diagrams for the vehicle...the wire colors on the adapter harnesses don't allways match the wire colors of the factory harnesses. You need to know which wire is which and wire the correct wires together regardless of what color they may be. If you wired it simply by the wire colors, it most likely is not correct.
If you are lucky, it only blew the fuse for the tail/dash lamps. It is possible that you now have some serious vehicle wiring harness damage caused by the short circuit that was created.
I would disconnect the new radio and get the car fixed first. Then you need to find out which of the wires in the factory harness is for the illumination circuit and make sure that nothing is connected to it on the adapter harness. Most aftermarket radio/stereo systems do not use this circuit at all.

Trailer Wiring Harness

The trailer fuses should be located out in the engine compartment inside of the fuse/relay junction box.

That is unless the trailer connector on the vehicle and the wiring were installed by someone who used an after-market trailer connector, and if that is the case then you might find the fuses up under the dash or around the fuse/relay junction box, and the fuses will most likely be inside of in-line fuse holders that are part of the after-market wiring. Here are some diagrams that might help you out.

How to factory wire fog lights on a 2000 ford f150. pig tail, relay, and fuse are there. Only no wiring from fuse box.

This is a common problem on 97-00 MY trucks, regardless of the trim level ( XL, XLT, Lariat ).

If you install the fog lamp fuse in the BJB ( aka Battery Junction Box, Engine Compartment fuse panel ) Fuse # 9 ( 15 A fuse ) and jumper the normally open contacts in the fog lamp relay socket ( see diagram below ) the fog lamps should illuminate ( to confirm what you have doing on ).
8491ddd.jpg
The problem usually is the main headlamp switch to the BJB is not in place ( this is the yellow wire from the main headlamp switch connector to the relay socket pin #1 ).
One easy route is to make an aux lighting relay & harness, or purchase one online. With this, you can cut the factory ends and attach them to the harness you purchased. There is an air inlet next to where the steering wheel column runs through the firewall. This would give you an easy route to the fog lamp switch. The fog lamp switch, you can buy the factory one, and change the yellow wire from the connector to your added relay, or just add a switch for this function.
This will give you an idea of what the DIY relay and harness would look like.
