Question about 2002 Volkswagen Jetta TDI
After long road trips (2-3hours) the car loses acceleration power up hills. maintains power on level surface. i can pull over and turn the car off then back on a works fine for a few miles then back to the same problem. Let sit over night and works fine the next day for 2-3 hours.
Count the shifts. It sounds like you are going into overdrive and staying there. Overdrive is too long legged to pull most hills unless you are really flying.. good luck
