V6 ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SENDING UNIT LOCATION NEXT TO OIL FILTER. THE 4 CYLINDER ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SENDING UNIT LOCATION IS FRONT CAMSHAFT HOUSING ON THE LEFT DRIVER SIDE OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT.
The oil pressure sending unit is located on the engine block, passenger side by the Distributor. Good luck and make sure you get the right sending unit, there is the simple unit that only turns on a low oil pressure light and the other will send signals to the oil pressure gauge.
the sending unit are not normally hard to replace but you will want to get an oil pressure sending unit socket, i would recommend buying the new sender and getting the socket at the same time to ensure good fit, sometimes the sockets can be a little short for the application. in any case the clutch fluid would have to be bleed out at the slave cylinder (as long as it is a hydraulic clutch) by opening the bleeder screw. careful with those though they sometimes require heating and cooling with a torch to remove without damage. hope this will help you.
hi the only problem driving it is not knowing ? its located on the front surface of the drivers side cylinder head near/next to oil filter hope this helps if so please rate it
The oil pump is in the oil pan and needs to be dropped and being a 4WD you also need to drop the front axle pumpkin to remove the oil pan and replace all the gasket needed. Start with the easy and replace the oil pressure sending unit, it's on the back of the engine to the passenger side of the distributor. You can go to Auto Zone and pick up a new Oil sending unit, just make sure your get the right one, "Sending Unit" Looks the same are the oil pressure sensor but the unit reads the pressure, the other just signal a light to go on and off. It's an easy fix like replacing a spark plug.
