WHY IS MY 1994 CHEVY CHEYENNE DRIVE FINE ON THE FREEWAY BUT IN TOWN IT WILL DIE ON ME AT STOP LIGHTS.

Can be numerous things.Have you done any major work on car.What lead up tp this

short in turn signal switch.

Do an upper intake clean that will clean the throttle body and the Idle Air Control valve. Also clean the mass air flow sensor

It's not wise to drive on overdrive everytime. When you are cruising that's when OD should beused.

could be bad headlight switch

thats the air flow meter giving you the problem.Change that then you will be fine im sure.Good luck.

A blowen fuse will cause that, most all dash lights and taillights on cars and trucks run off the same fuse.

Are there any codes in the pcm?
There are quite a few things that could cause this;
Make sure the battery cables are tight and clean.
If you have a way to do it, need to find out what the fuel pressure is at when it is acting up.
Dose it miss at all or just loose rpm's and die, no matter what you do? (meaning can you keep it alive by pressing the gas peddle)

To me it sounds like your new fuel pump is loosing pressure while running for a while. But try and get a pressure reading and post back, that will give us something to rule out, or to address.
I think the light flicker you are talking about is just low engine rpm's?

Get a can of intake cleaner from any local parts store, not carb spray, intake cleaner, it is made by a company called CRC, remove the air intake hose to the engine, hold the idle high so the engine won't stall, then spray the can of cleaner into the intake while keeping the engine running, use at least 1/2 the can, shut down the engine and disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, then restart and complete a number of mixed driving cycles, town, freeway, stop and go etc., after a few days the problem will go away as the system will relearn to the clean intake
