What make model and year vehicle ? When the light stays on it's telling you there is a problem and there is a DTC - diagnostic trouble code stored in the 4X4 control module ! Could be wiring , a module , transfer case actuation motor , or decoder motor etc... Just depends on what make , model and year ! But the first place to start , checking for DTC'S

Windshield wipers won't turn off

This SHOULD be two different problems. I hope.
The wiper problem is very likely the wiper motor.
There is a "transmission" built into the motor, that used to be rebuildable 40 years age, but not any more.
The are made as cheaply as possible, and can fail in a few years, and often do.
Replacing the motor should fix that problem.
Since these are made cheaply, I have even gotten new ones off the shelf and had them "no good" either.
The turn signal, start with the fuse under the dashboard.
Then go to the turn signal relay, either under the dashboard or under the hood in a black plastic box.
If your 4-way flashers work, it would usually be the turn signal relay, since the 4-ways use a separate relay.
God bless your efforts.

Hi, it sounds like your resistors are burning up one at a time. Sometimes a bad switch is the cause, but I bet you will find heat damage when you pull out the resistor. Let me see if I have a pic of where to find the resistor pack.

Fan slowly not working on allspeeds now will only work on on high setting .so if the resitor is going bad on fan motor assy where is it located so i can change it out and how hard is it to get to thanks...

the resistor is located in the air box that the motor blows air through,it is usually located near the blower motor and has anywhere from a 4 to 5 wire plug attached to it. there is usually 2 bolts that hold it into place it can be a little tricky to replace.

I don`t know what year your car is but my 91 Escort had 4 little connections under the glove box where the passengers feet would be right in front of the blower moter (i.e. some one sitting in the passenger seat could hit these 4 relay type things if they kicked their leg) and my had been dammaged and that stopped my blower motor from working until I straightened them out and reconnected them all.

The fan will not turn on for my a/c. The compressor works just the fan does not. Please help

Those fan motors are very prone to wear the carbon brushes very early. They last 4-5 years tops.
After checking the fuse and relay of the motor fan. The culprit should be the motor brushes.
Replace both fan motors.
