Check front end -idler arm-control arm bushings-upper/lower ball joints--wheel bearings
I would check the steering ball joints for wear and replace as necessary
from your description it sounds like castor wobble so have the front end suspension checked and then have a wheel alignment done
check wheel bearing condition and adjustment

i would start with checking the axles because most of them have a abs ring on them which will trigger the abs light. also make sure your axles are in good shape. last resort would be that you need new tires because the steel bands inside are starting to seperate. good luck
SOURCE: brakes
I don't know if the brakes dragging would cause the shaking or not but I will ask a question or two.
Does the car steer to the right or left when you apply the brakes? This would be caused by any leaking fluid or if one side is dragging heavily. This is because when the brakes heat up too much they begin to fade and loose there stopping power. If one side is dragging the car will pull to the other side when you apply the brakes.
You need to make shure that the brakes are clean and dry. Free from all grease or break fluid.
If a wheel is dragging the rotor will overheat and will cause "Blueing" of the rotors or they will look like they have small cracks in them.
Also did the shaking start imediatly after all the work or did it take a while?

disconect the batteri over night, or take the dash speedo out and put a screwdriver through the abs bulb
