Where are the main breaker panels on an 86 ford econoline motorhome? found the ones above the door.

Typically if the batteries are in the engine compartment they are for the engine. There are usually a bank of remote batteries located in an access panel in the R/V body.

I have an 86 motorhome and all the fuses are located in a box under the sink just above the floor. Cover is brown.

I would guess a 1990 E350 Econoline Van Owner Manual would have the chart. ISn't it on the fuse panel cover?

Check the power to the power window switch on the driver's side.

Std & SuperCab Engine compartment fuse panel, Fuse # 110 -> Accessory delay relay -> Light Blue w/ Black stripe wire.

If you do not have power at the light blue w/ black stripe wire with the key in the accy or run positions, next would be to pull the accessory delay relay from the cab fuse panel, and bench test it to make sure when power & ground are connected to the coil, that the normally open terminals close. Easy test, power & ground to terminal 85 & 86, ohm meter on terminals 30 & 87.



If the accessory delay relay bench tests good, check for continuity on terminal 87 to the light blue w/ black stripe wire at the window switch.
Another easy route is to install a jumper in the relay socket ( with the relay removed ) as shown in the diagram above, red line. This should have power at the power windows regardless of the key position. If not, the fuse is not good or the wire is broken, most likely in the rubber boot from the a pillar to the driver's door.

It is possible you need a fuel pump or carb could be all gumed up from sitting around

You may find one in fuse panel that is empty that you can use, then just run your own wire and put fuse in open cavity. Here's a link that may help you though.

Check the fuel pump.
Check the fuel filter.
Best would be to also clean the carburator.

For a 1999 Ford Econoline 150 (assume the same or very similar), remove triangular plastic cover over mirror assembly by prying straight out, remove plastic door handle cover by prying up from the front side, remove electronic door switches by prying up from back side, remove round plastic cover at bottom rear of door panel. Four screws are now revealed, remove them. Lift door panel straight up, clips are hooks (not snap in). Work door switch assembly out of door panel. Set door panel aside. Reassemble in reverse order.

try coming up from the wheel way, on your plugs. the rest sounds alot like cat converter.
