Holden V6 needs head gasket how much would this cost

The easiest way to find this out is to Google three or four well known auto part stores and enter you vehicle details. The price for the standard gasket will be less than a high performance version. If your upgrading to a performance gasket replace BOTH sides.

Hi I'm anthony I have a 2005 suzuki reno I think it's a grate car so I'd like to beef it up with a bigger motor what engine do u think would be best fitting for low budget rebuild?

I would put a 5.7 litre V8 Shelby Mustang engine into it. It would make it fly! Trouble is there would be nowhere for you to sit! This is a joke right :>) You can't put any other engine into that tiny car other than the one that came with it!

The only thing you can do is buy some performance pats for it, perhaps even go faster vinyl stripes.

What could be the cause of power loss engine performance of a 240kph car that cant even get to a 160kph speed...?

So many things hard to list them all. Vacuum leaks, tune up parts, bad ignition module, clogged cat converter or muffler, low fuel pressure, leak between MAF and throttle body, bad coolant temp sensor, leaking head gasket, others.

There's several ways to improve engine performance.
You can change internal engine parts(crankshaft, camshaft, piston, rods, valves, gasket, block) the air intake(filter, piping) the exhaust, turbocharging (although i don't know how good it would be since it is an aspirated engine) and there are more.
This is something that requires money, time and expertise.
You can do some of the modifications by yourself, you can start by upgrading your air intake, but other modifications require engineering expertise to be sure what the engine can still handle and how can it be upgraded.

Car turns over, can smell fuel, fuses are okay, tried to initially start but died, and now will not start, only turns over. Does not get a spark to the plugs.

Most likely the problem is one of the three following conditions Crank Position sensor, Cam Position sensor or timing belt broken.

What is nos? a mist that mixes with air and fuel witch boosts the engine power and boosts up is not for use with stock engine's best to use performance parts..such as a manifold up grade cam shaft upgrade injector upgrade to install is not all that complicated just going to need a few open end wrenches thread lock maybe a small pipe bender and cutter and about two hours..

Jekyll, There are so many suggestions and so many diff ways to go about this question but I will give you some ideas. First I have always noticed the best and cheapest performance upgrade is to the exhaust system. A good set of headers is always the best starting point. In fact what good is other upgrades if you are stopping up at the exhaust. The best but expensive upgrade you can do for your vehicle is the Heads. A budget set of 1996-1999 Vortec heads are a blessing but there is alot involved in this upgrade. Rear axel gearing is another great upgrade as well as Camshaft and stall convertor upgrades. If your vehicle has a computer this can also lead to other options. I am currently working on a second generation 1978 camaro z-28 so if you need more info do contact me... dreamweaver1
