Sounds like tou need to replace blower motor resistor, it is located on A/C, heater case near motor. This should fix you right up. Have a good one!

1992 Dodge Dakota 2wd 3.9L V6 Air conditioning/Heater dosent blow? when i turn the air or the heat on i can hear the compressor kick on but it dosen't blow cold or hot? any help would be appreciated

Roger it sounds like the blower motor is not comming on. There is a resistor network located in the engine compartment on the passenger side mounted to the firewall, that controlls the blower motor. The connections may have corroted or the unit itself is bad. That was the first thing I had to relpace when I got my used 92 Dakota. There is also a 30 amp fuse in the fuse box under the dash board . If that is blown I would suspect the blower motor is seized up or just pulling too much power.

Heat and air condition fan stopped working on my 2004 Dodge Dakota, does not blow, ice is comming in and i need to be able to defrost my windshield and heat my truck

First thing to check is the fuse. There will be one under the hood and another in the interior fuse box. The 2004 model does nt have a relay. If the fuse is good, you need to check to see if the blower motor is good. The motor is located under the glove compartment area of the dash, near the firewall. Disconnect the harness from the blower motor, and using jumper wires, apply voltage directly to the blower motor contacts. If the blower motor works, then the switch is bad. If the blower still does not work then the motor is bad.

My inside cold/heat switch is only blowing on very high.....it is not working in low med high stages.....is it a fuse or do i need to replace switch?

It's the switch. Low cost replacements are found in most junkyards, dealer prices are ridiculously high.

Hello, i have a dodge dakota quad cap and the air conditioner work but when i turn on the vent it won't blow the air, how can i fix it?

Check the fan switch and it`s connection,to see if they are burned, then check the fan motor, sometimes, not always, you can bump the blower motor with your hand if it starts blowing, then the blower motor is bad,if this was at all helpful, please rate, thank you.

The heater/defroster/ac switch

Sounds like a card located under dash behind your blower motor, on passenger side. When card starts going bad you will only have off and high (for awhile), then none. change the card, this thing controls your speeds on the motor at your control on dash. I have a 2002 Dakota had same problem... but keep in mind not all Dakotas have this card.

Replace your resistor if you haven't already. I had the same issue with mine, it only worked on high.
