Question about 2004 Dodge Ram 1500
My radio started reseting itself everytime I turned on the truck so I had to set the time and channels everytime I drove somewhere. Then suddenly the radio stopped working completely along with the door locks not working unless the ignition is turned on.Interior lights also not working unless the ignition is turned on.Please help,it is really bad driving an hour to work and back without a radio.I checked all the fuses and nothing.
I had a similar problem on my ford probe. i found that the fixed live to the radio had split. it left me with only switched power from the ignition. over time it shorted out and i lost radio, central locking and dash lights. i replaced the fuse in the back of radio and had to have the wiring checked! oddly when it was checked over no other faults were found apart from the split live.i replaced the live feed, reconnected the battery and everything was fine. Dont know if this helps but u never know. Good Luck
