Ive put multiple alternator and batteries it will do fine for awhile and then you have to jump it then its on for a while

You can use obd2 scanner to check the engine system.

maybe not a full time drain,sometimes alternators will work off and on...have it checked under load,at a shop.

If you start the car and then remove the positive cable from the battery the car should run off of the alternator. If it dies you alternator or the wiring is bad, most likely the alternator.

check alternator output with engine running.you should have 13.5 - 14.5 volts if not alternator not charging.check alternator wiring to battery feed to alternator.check alternator voltage regulator wiring check alternator fuse make drive belt not slipping.and you have the correct cold cranking amp battery.bad old worn out battery cables will cause charging problems.because old battery cables put high resistance on the charging circuit.if battery cables old as vechicle replace them.

These are all signs of a bad alternator. The car is running off of only the battery. The alternator charges the battery and keeps the car running. When the alternator quits charging the car will run fine until the battery dies. Then you can jump the battery and charge it, and the car will run fine until all of the electronics and lights run the battery down again.

You may have received a faulty alternator from the store. I have bought alternators from AutoZone before and in one instance had to take it back 3 times before I got one that worked correctly. Also, you should not have jumped the car, you should have started it up on battery and alternator. That would have told you if the battery was drained or the alternator you had just put in was bad. If you put the drained battery back in the car to run it, the car would have died anyway. Whenever I have changed an alternator out I always let it run in the driveway for awhile to make sure that both the battery and alternator are functioning correctly.

Have your alternator checked. Most auto supply places do this at no charge. Multiple dashboard warning lights usually indicate alternator problems.

Sounds like you don't have a good ground at the battery. Take the clamps off of the battery and give them a good cleaning. Then, put some dielectric grease on the battery posts when you put the clamps back on.

Your battery ran low and you jump started with a low battery, putting a lot of stress on your alternator. I would pull the battery and load test it after fully charging it and also have the alternator tested.

This could the problem with battery as it could be dead get the battery check if it less then rated voltage then its dead and replace the battery ....
