Check coolant level . leaking fuel lines while running and stopped, gas tank filler cap , temperature censor ,low oil pressure , crank censor and fuel pump . Could also be the ECU ...
Good day. A couple of things can cause your problem. First thing you can try is to connect a 12v supply to your fuelpump to see if its running. both positive and negative. There will be a positive supply present on the pump with ignition on. Its the negative wire thats being switched by a relay that is triggered by an electronic pulse censor. This censor works of a toothed gear on the front pulley. This censor also triggers the injectors as well as your spark. So if you have spark on the sparkplugs it means the censor is ok and that means your fuel relay is faulty. Most of the times its the fuel relay.
Check the obvious things first, are you low on water? are you low on oil? are you over heating, if these all check out then you probably have a defective censor somewhere. emission censors can do this also. Oil sending unit, water temp censor, etc.
Oil repair light? Maybe you need to add oil or the oil level censor is bad or it's time to change your oil. If it is your oil pump it is in the engine most times you have to remove the engine to replace it your looking at spending 500-800 to fix depending on the garage you take it to.
The crank sensors for that car isn't that spendy at all. Being coolant and water had been dripping on the sensor, the electrical part of the magnetic pickup may have been damaged. Replace the crank sensor and all should be fine again.
