You have two separate flashers for the car. replay the one on the front of the fuse panel. Big round and silver colored.

    Looks like yours is a three pin relay. It has both built in. One side is bad. About $13.

Need a diagram for how to find the flasher in a 1999 dodge stratus..it's not in the fuse boxes

Simple method without mystery:
  1. Turn blinker flashers on;
  2. Listen for clicking;
  3. Find source of clicking. It is the flasher. :)
NOTE: Emergency flashers and blinkers usually use a separate flasher unit, but one is close to the other. If your blinkers do not work but your emergency flashers do, find the emergency flasher unit by finding the source of clicking, then locate the blinker flasher nearby. They will ALWAYS be underneath the dashboard on the driver side.

Blinker lights not working on my dodge ram 1500 1996. Emergency lights work fine and fuse isn't the problem. No arrows turn on when turning the blinkers on but the emergency lights are working fine. Can...

I bet your blinker flasher is not working. Most likely it uses two flashers, my Intrepid did. Somewhere (probably near the fuse box) and likely under the dash you will see a board with relays and stuff plugged in. You will also see two round things, those are most likely the flashers. Swap them if they are the same, then your hazard lights won't but your blinkers will, at least until you get to the store to get a replacement.

Have no turn signals or four way flashers switch is good what else could be problem

you have what they call a flasher unit, its a relay of sorts ,, it makes the items you list Blink, its a small box usually located near the fuse box,, your actual switch can be fine, but if the flasher unit quit, ( which is usually the case) the blinkers won't work, ( some systems use the same flasher unit for blinkers and emergency flashers, and others use one for each )

All of a sudden my front blinkers started blinking very rapidly. My front emergency flashers work fine. However, neither of my rear blinkers work, nor do my rear emergency flashers work.

You probably have a lamp that is burned out ... when you have only one turn signal light, it reduces the load on the flasher by 50% causing the bi-metal strip to heat at twice the rate as with two lamps.

Check it out ...

Hello Goddard.
First thing is to verify all of the bulbs involved in the turn signal circuit are working. This will include the side marker lights. If they don't ll work the current flow may not be enough to properly activate the flasher.
Next on the list is the flasher unit itself. It is mounted on the bracket near the emergency brake pedal. Replace it, the contacts may be losing continuity and the emergency flashers would draw more current making it work.
Next would be the the signal switch itself. There may be some worn contacts and moving the emergency switch could position the contact point slightly enough to allow continuity.
If you would like more assistance on this leave me a message in "add comments" and I will check back.
I hope your repair goes well for you.

1989 chevy 1/2 ton.brake lights or emergency flashers dont work.tail lights an blinkers work.

The Blinkers and the Brake Lights are the same bulb. So check the brake light switch. Flashers use a different flasher unit, than the turn signals

Blinker dont work flasher and other lights work

The turn signals don't work, but the emergency flashers do? If that's the case, replace the flasher, you have 2 flashers, one for emergency (hazard) flasher, and one for the turn signals. It should be on the fuse block under the dash.

Blinkers stopped working

Your F--150 has 2 flashers, emergency and turn signal. Both are mounted on the fuse block under the dash. The turn signal flasher is mounted on the front of the fuse panel, the emergency flasher is mounted on the rear of the fuse panel. so replace the turn signal flasher should solve the problem. Let me know how it goes.
