Loud Humming/Wheel Bearings?

When you turn and hear a noise it is usually a CV Joint that is going bad. Humming can be a lot of things. Tires wheel bearings, rear end differential etc.

I have to replace my right rear wheel seal/bearing on my 2002 Chevy Tahoe and am curious about how much it is/should cost me.

Hello Richard, the bearing and seal kit will run you about $75, i recommend using a Timken bearing over the AC Delco. Two hours labor to install is the norm for most shops @ $85- $95 per hour. Dealer rates will be higher. Estimated repair cost $265.00.
I hope this helps.

I have a 2002 MDX with 83000 miles. The dealer advises a timing belt change. Should I and how much should it cost. Include changing the water pump too. Thanks

We don't have prices

Get that job done at a local repair shop
There is no reason to ever give your money
to a dealer,too expensive

Lgaddy4My 2004 ford explorer is leaking under the hood, and its not hitting the ground. it just leaking and landing on other parts.I have to add water every time I drive now cause it goes to fast.

Hello, There can be several things wrong with your Explorer. There is a tool for Pressure testing the Radiator and all of the connections. You may be able to borrow this tool from an Autoparts store with their loaner program. Just leave a deposit and use the tool and then return the tool for a return of your deposit. Do not pressurize above the recommended Radiator cap pressure, 15 lbs would be safe.

When you use the Pressure tool, you should be able to find the leak. It can be something very simple like a hose or hose clamp, or more of a problem like a water pump. The good thing is that your leak is apparently on the outside of the motor and it will be easier and cheaper to fix.

A repair place dealing in auto air conditioning and Radiator repair would be capable of doing this job. They must find the leak before they can price the repair. A Dealer can do this repair but it is going to cost more there. Its impossible to estimate the cost until the broken part is identified.

My 98 explorer has an intermittent starting problem based I think with the Anti Theft System. Most of the time I can walk away with the key for about ten minutes and it will start. Other times not. I have...

the anti theft does not shut the fuel off, it disables the starter motor, so the problem u have is a failing fuel pump, this most often happens on trucks lke yours at around 100,000 miles.
