You may not have brake lights. i had this happen twice in my canyon its a switch that goes bad and its a recall so it should be free at the dealer installed and everything.

check the adjustment under the clutch and brake pedals If the rubber stops are a bit dodgy then the pedal will not activate/deactivate the controls for the cruise.

CRUISE CONTROL QUIT

There should be a Cruise Control relay too. Find one thats the same and switch them out, like the horn relay. If the Cruise starts working then you have a bad relay.

My all wheel drive subaru is now a fwd only. cruise control quit working I pulled the cruise fuse put it back in. the cruise and awd drive worked for about ten minutes then stopped working again. I am at...

Check that the cruise control module fuses are not blown in the fuse panel. Also make sure your stop lights are working; cruise controls are designed to disengage when the brakes are applied, and one method of sensing that is to monitor brake light current.

then reset your four wheel drive again

Cruse control just quit working on the way from Houston,Tx. Checked the fuses. All seem to be ok. Can you offer any suggestions?

CHECK THE BRAKE LIGHTS HAVE A ASSISTANT OPERATE BRAKES TO SES IF BRAKES LIGHTS WORK WHILE APPLY BRAKES BECAUSE BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH DEACTIVATES THE CRUISE CONTROL.IF BRAKE LIGHTS DONT WORK.CHECK FUSE IF BRAKE LIGHT FUSE IS GOOD.THE BRAKE SWITCH IS BAD OR HAVE A OPEN FROM FUSE BOX TO THE SWITCH.IF BRAKE LIGHTS WORKING.THE DEALERSHIP HAS TO SCAN VECHICLE BECAUSE CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM IS CONTROLLED BY A SERVO MOTOR MOTOR, BRAKE SWITCH ,CONTROL SWITCHES ,SPEED SENSORS AND RELAYS. SEE YOU HAVE TO HAVE VECHICLE SCANNED YOU HAVE TOO MANY CONTROL DEVICES.

Cruise quite working, is there a fuse?

yes, cruise control and the brake light system, work off the same hot wire for safety reasons, so check the brake light fuse for cruise control problems also.
can you rate this? thanks

Cruise control quit working, so where should I check. I would like to know about the wires and fuses and where to trace them down.

The 1994-95 Chrysler Minivans have four electrical panels/fuse boxes.:
  1. Fuse Block Panel (In Dash)
  2. Relay Block (In Dash)
  3. Micro Relay Block (In Dash)
  4. Power Distribution Center (Underhood)
Fuse block is located on left side of instrument panel, behind access door. Speed (cruise) control fuse is No. 14.
Note: If you have an airbag light on your dash litup, it might be something called a clockspring, which you'll have to take to the dealership/garage to get fixed. (Dealership is probably your best bet)
Hope this helps! :)
