2002 CHRYSLER CONCORDE, 2.7 HAS NO IGN ENG HAS BEEN REBUILT. TIMING DOUBLE CK, CRANK AND CAM SENSORS REPLACED. POWER TO COILS CKD OK. FUEL INJECTORS WORKING PROPERLY, BUT STILL NO IGN SPARK. HELP!!!!

Check that the wiring harness to the coils is getting 12v, this will confirm if the pcm is sending a signal for the sparks to fire. Check the ignition coil is sending spark to the plugs with a spark plug tester.

If you have no power to the coil with key on, it might be the crank sensor. The spit and sputter ckould be a fuel problem, but if you have no spark now, check the crank sensor.

How to test mass air flow sensor on 1992 jaguar vanden plas

If a spark has no path to discharge, it will often find a weak one or create one. If your wires or plugs are so bad that they cannot pass a spark, the coil will discharge elsewhere. It is a great coil. I have seen brand new plugs completely disable an engine. Completely. I have seen wires completely fail on their maiden voyage. The plugs were Champion BRF52 on a Ford, the wires were Belden for a V6 Mercury. I do not recommend Champion plugs, at all. I do however like Belden quality. You would not suspect them, but... Suspect them. Pull one out lay it on a steel part of the engine, and see if it sparks. If not, replace them. For wire, try to start the engine at night, watch in the dark for arcing wires. Replace them.

I have a 1995 dodge van which wont start due to no spark I have tested right at the coils sec. I do have injector pulse but no pulse at ign coils primary there is power at primary of coil at first we...

A test light connected across the coil primary leads should flash on + off when engine cranks(coil sparks when 12v turned OFF due to collapse of magnetic field). If you get pulsed 12 volts, and no spark from the coil, the coil is bad.If you don't get the pulsed 12 volts, trace back to find out why(the PCM turns the coil ground on and off,12 volts comes from switched IGN source)

No start on old gasoline forklift engine.

most likely the ign switch is ok if you are getting spark. so you have a hot spark at coil and weak fire at plugs? if you have a test light check the positive side of coil for power when turning key on and cranking. if it is dropping power on positive side then ign switch could be bad. can "hotwire" coil by jumping a wire to positive side of coil to pos of battery this will eliminate ign switch.

91 f 150 cranks will not start fuel pumps ok please help not firing

Are you getting spark? If not, check if the distributor is turning when cranking the engine. If it is, check for power at the coil, if you've got power at coil it probably the ign module. Common on those years. If you have spark and good fuel pressure check compression. One small possiblily is the coolant temp sensor is bad causing the injectors to flood the engine, in which case you can hold the gas pedal to the floor while cranking to turn off the injectors. Good luck!

Sounds more like an electrical problem.First I'd check the battery voltage, should be at least 13. It shouldn't drop much below 11 when you crank the engine and it should bounce back when you stop. Make sure your connections are good especially to the coil, wires aren't frayed or loose on connectors. There should be a ground from the body to the motor. Is it still thereand making good contact? If I'm not mistaken the coil should ground to the motor, make sure it has good contact as well. Also double check your connections at the starter to make sure they are clean and tight. Loose connections can draw extra power and could draw enough extra power to kill the coil. Hope this helps.
