A lot of people are having this problem.I had a mitsu gallant and it was the drain on the outside of the car that was leaking back in the car .Get some gasket material that you can form in your hand and work the gasket material around the drain. It stopped my leak on my car.I had tried cleaning the drain,it was not the problem. In most Mitsubishis the drain is in the center of the firewall.I had to stick my arm down in front of the windshield down till I felt the drain and I slowly worked the gasket material around the drain and have not had a problem since. If you get under the car you probably will not see the drain. There are transmission lines ect. running where the drain is.Some models may differ .

Water problems

Either one of two things has happened. The heater core is leaking or the evaporator case drain tube is clogged or disconnected. If the evap case is clogged then clean out drain tube using compressed air or a water hose. Do it in short bursts either way. If its heater core removal of dash is necessary.

Plugged ac evaporator drain hose 2004 mitsibishi endever

I take it that condensate from the evaporator is leaking inside on the floor. Could be the drain tube is partially clogged. It is usually located on the fire-wall or down towards the floor pan under the car. It is usually close to where the A/C lines go thru the fire-wall. About 1/2 inch diameter sticking straight out but may have a 90 degree elbow pointing down.
Also, it's been extra hot and humid all over and moisture could be freezing inside the unit when on MAX A/C, then suddenly melting when switched to normal. This opens the outside air door and allows warm/hot air into the unit instead of recirculating the cold air inside the car. The drain may not be able to handle a large, sudden quantity of water.
Perform a "driveway" test. Open the hood, start engine and run the A/C on normal with the windows or doors open. Locate the drain tube by looking for water dripping. Once located twist 2 or 3 pipe cleaners together and verify the tube is clean. Then close the doors/windows and switch to MAX A/C. Check for water dripping. If it stops dripping, water is freezing inside and now you know why!

Water is not draining properly from the air conditioner condenser

did you find where the drain out put is in the air conditioning assembly box located on the firewall. It should be a clear or black hose coming off of the air conditioning assembly. If you use a coat hanger or a piece of wire about the same diameter of a wire coat hanger and use the wire and stick it up the hose to clear the debris out of the way(probably leaves and such pretty common).

Exact location of A/C drain tube

Open hood, near center on firewall at back of engine, below and about midway between the AC lines and steering column, a small rubber "L" nipple should be visible, if not, line is draining under dash at the firewall, if it is, it may be clogged again. Find a mechanic that you trust and have them them clean it out for you.

It should be under your hood, on the firewall. Should be a short black hose there somewhere.
