Remove the AC Compressor and the AC Bracket. this will allow access to the water pump manifold. don't for get to also replace the "O" Ring.

This one costed me lots of money to figure out.

The Haynes 1140 manual covers the job and will provide the specs for torque on all of these different bolts.

Basically, remove the ground cable, drain the cooling system (anti-freeze is toxic to animals & humans) remove the belts & get the accessories that are blocking it out of the way, specifically the a/c if equipped.along with it's bracket, the alternator & wiring. You will be removing a support bolt & 3 bolts that secure the water pump to the engine block where it is sealed with an "O" ring. You'll need to remove the pump tself which is just the upper portion, (look at your new pump) from that complete assembly you just removed. You do this by taking out all of the bolts & carefully prying it apart. You'll get a new gasket & need to use RTV sealant on this part when reassembling. Alll surfaces have to extremely smooth & clean for gaskets and "O" rings to work properly & should be carefully scraped or sprayed with gasket remover to make sure it is prepared for the new parts. If your car overheated it is a good idea to also replace the thermostat I gasket & to check all of your hoses. Hope this helps, good luck.

Fuel injectors are very simple devices. Basically they are just electrical solenoids. What exactly are you trying to reset? I have never heard of a reset button for injectors. Thats kind of like a reset button for your faucet. Perhaps you should give us a bit more of a description of the problem. :)

SOURCE: need to change water pumb

The 4.0 Liter engine was not made until 2007. Is this what you have--a new engine put in a few years ago? Please verify engine size before I can answer this request.
