Yes... Front suspension noise can travel throughout suspension components making a variety of different audible noises that can be heard. I would suggest having the vehicle checked by a proffessional in case it is a safety related suspension component that is worn

My truck is shaking and drives badly

check the suspension for failing ball joints , steering rod joints
check the wheel alignment for castor alignment
have a drive line specialist shop check for failed CV joints , that are binding up during operation ( most probable if you have not hit a pot hole or gutter and could hear a click noise as you slowly turned corners )

2011 Lexus RX350. I hit a pot hole - Driver side front. The rim is dented - like a small "V". Other than the rim. Should I expect damage to the suspension or front wheel drive mechanisms? THis is...

Hello and welcome to FixYa!

Yes it may and may not. Since it's a 2011, suspensions are new and real tough so you can leave the worry behind. If there are no grinding or squeaking noise underneath then you're good.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

Left front thumps when driving down the road at any speed and when I take a left the noise increases especially if I drive over a pot hole. Sounds like the front tire is about to break through the fender...

The sound you hear sounds like a main wheel bearing.Because it increases when you make a left it is 100% on that side.I would start there and check the other components as you go. Good Luck

I hear the front suspension rattle when i go over pot holes or cracks in the road. At first it was just the drivers side now i can hear it on both sides. What could this be?

could be ball joints, bad shocks, loose brake calipers or a broken coil spring although the last one would also show some sagging of the suspension.

I suspect it 's balljoints.
