Question about 2003 Toyota 4Runner
After replacing front roters and pads - I have not brakes and the ABS light is on.. Pep boys says only the dealer can repair it..
It sounds like the calipers have seized after being pushed back to allow for the new pads. Take ot the new pads press the brake pedle slowly to release the caliper(just enough so it's released almost to full , then push back with your finghr and thumb) one side at a time, coat with copper slip and do the same on the other side. Rgarding the abs, make sure the new pads have the correct electrical connections to complete the abs circut, if not you will have to buy new ones that do. Hope that works
