Reversing lamp positive wire is shorted to ground.
Possible causes:
- Reverse lamp switch is shorted.
- Short circuit in wiring.
- One of the bulb or bulb holder is shorted to ground.
- Fuse is under-rated.
Check the ground on you backup lights check your trailer plug wiring also may be shorted. pull the backup lights and see if the plugs are corroded.
Sounds like a wire being shorted out in the shift console. I can't remember how to take out the console, but it's usually as simple as a few screws in strategic places (including under or behind ashtrays, cup holders, and storage areas).
