Question about 1999 Oldsmobile Alero
First of all, are you sure its the fuel pump? and what type of gas are you using...? if in states or canada =shell = not that good, while chevron = one of the best.... to see if it is the fuel pump, turn the ignition to the on postion (DO NOT start) and listen to see if the fuel pump "whirrs" to life, if it does this is good. when you put the key in the on position, the fuel pump turns on pressurizing the lines going to the engine...three fuel pumps sounds bad....
