SOURCE: Toyota tazz 130 (2001 model) is leaking oil from

check where the oil leak is exactly coming. possibly the leak is only from the oil drain plug that needs a new washer. if the leak is coming from the edge of the oil pan itself then you need to remove the oil pan itself, thoroughly clean the oil pan before installing put a silicon on the edge and bolt it back but ensure to tighten the bolts evenly.

SOURCE: toyota tazz 1300 problem. My toyota

have you checked your oil by pulling the dipstick? does it look deep brown?if so. there is water or coolant present in engine!!do not run the engine.if you see brown sludge on the oil dipstick, there is a blown head gasket.if you open your radiator and you see oil floating in there, suggest a blown head gasket.if you have oil or antifreeze coming out of exhaust, you have a blown head gasket in the motor.oil mixing with the water is never a good thing motor wise. suggest you not run the engine until you get a pro. to see,or you run risk of loosing engine.hope this helps and thank you for choosing fixya.com we are here always to assist the people that want to know for sure,

You may have an internal leak, here are a couple things to check.
One make sure you aren't gaining oil. You could be leaking into the crankcase, oil will be milky or overfull.
Two leaking in to the combustion chamber. Check exhause for a sweet smell. Pull spark plugs one at a time and see if one is discollared. That could be the cylinder with the leak.

My toyota tazz 1.3L 2E has no power when going up hill , it only manages at gear one. it also jerks when idling and cuts off. i need advice as to what might be the problem. Thank you in advance

Many faults are capable of causing the symptoms you describe and a more comprehensive description of the year and fuel system, what checks and measurements you have done and what work has already been carried out?

The best first step is to ensure the maintenance schedule is up to date and the work competently and thoroughly carried out - a great many common engine problems are cured during good periodic maintenance.

What is the tappets clearance for an 2000 Toyota tazz 1.3 2E engine.

This will depend on whether that engine uses mechanical or hydraulic tappets. I think that model and year still used the mechanical type. Mechanical ones need a gap, hydraulic ones don't. If yours is the 2e engine, (most versions were), the clearance gap will be 5.965-5.980 mm (0.2348-0.2354 in.)
