How do I reset the security system codes for my 2001 Saturn SL2

I'm guessing Address was supposed to be "add gas"

Bad fuel pump or TBI.... turn key right before start position and listen for fuel pump- it's probably in the gas tank. But you'll hear it if it's working Reset security? Or something is disabled because of some security feature

This is a pretty common problem on GM cars. Expensive to fix, and even harder to diagnose. Read this info found on this link. It will help you understand the problem and offers some good solutions to beat this yourself. Bypassing this terrible system is a lot better than trying to have it fixed. Instead of paying the dealer mechanic to stumble thru the system and charge you for unwanted items, do this yourself.

When the security light comes on, it means that there is a failure in the anti theft system. It will either shut off the starter or turn off the injectors. The other lights being on are a result of the key being turned forward and the vehicle not running. If its 1998 or older, i know the security issue will not show up on a diagnostic machine. Especially if its at auto zone or some place like that. If the car doesnt run or start, and its on this list.

PO 301 is no 1 cylinder misfire, PO 410 is secondary air injection system, & PO 442 is Medium leak detected in EVAP system.

well easiest way is to tape the old key near the ignition

without key you need to essentially re wire the ignition and under the hood arround the computer controlls and power supply

most likely this is the O2 sensor for that cylinder bank is defective.
