My brake light turned on on my dashboard and it's solid any info on it

Well there are many images that could be shown in your dashboard

ANTI-LOCK BRAKES LIGHT

BRAKE PADS WORN LIGHT

So it could be either of the two. I would take your car to a mechanic and have it checked out.

Brake switch not working.

I would start at the left brake light. Check the bulb and wiring. Your brake light could be grounding through the blinker circuit.

where did you get the flasher from? autozone? try to get another one from a good parts supplier. if not, check the bulbs themselves. if they are supposed to be a dual filiment bulb, and only a single filiment bulb is in there, it may not flash. try using the turn signals with the parking lights on. does this make a difference?

if it is the brake light on the dashboard,make sure that your e-brake if fully disengaged.if it is,check your brake fluid.usually when its a little low and the car is in movement,the sensor will indicate that the fluid is low which will cause the brake light to come on,but when you stop and the car is not moving,the sensor will read that the brake fluid is at a normal capacity,which will then make the brake light turn off again. hope this info solves your problem. take care ,manny

Under the dashboard, usually on the drivers side right around your knees..check your owners manual for which fuse is the brake light fuse if the fuse cover doesn't have the info on it....

howdy, when the solid red brake light is on without an ABS light, it is usually low brake fluid in the master cylinder reservoir or the brake fluid level sensor in the reservoir is stuck or defective. let me know if this helps you ...... good luck.

have someone stand behind ur car and check ur brake lights when u hit the brake and not ur tail lights when u turn all ur lights on. that warning light came on for me and i discovered a brake light out

thats the heater coil symbol for the diesel engines.
does it stay solid at beginning as normal?
if the car drives normal, then maybe its just a loose connection/wire somewhere
