Question about 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee
If you have the four flange bolts out, you may need to use a thin bladed screwdriver to separate the fan flange from the pump flange (a little wd 40 helps) There is no inch and a half bolt anywhere on the pump or fan so I have no clue what other bolt you are talking about. However, you likely are not removing the fan from the pump if you are working on an L6 engine. The pump does not have the fan mounted to it. Pump is bolted on the front of the block...lower hose goes to it.
