Left brake light and directional doesn't work

Check the bulbs first. If your front signal is on, then your electrical is working, and the problem is in the bulb. If not, check fuses! DO NOT PUT A LARGER FUSE IN THE FUSE PANEL THAN IS RECOMMENDED!!

2005 Impala, directional signals inoperative. Flashers are working. Replaced the hazard warning switch. Still no directional signals, hazards work. Now, car will not start.Buzzing sound from hazard sw

There is a good possibility that the hazard warning and directional signal lights have nothing to do with the starting or operation of the engine. There are many things that might cause the car to fail to start. The battery must be fully charged, and in good working condition. No corrosion on the terminals. good solid connections. When you turn the key the starter motor should turn the engine over. If that works the carburetor will need gas. If you have gas and spark, the engine should run. Hope that helps.
Turn signals work with the tail lights and parking lights on the front. You should turn on the Head lights and check to see if the tail lights and parking lights come on. You will also want to check to see if the flasher is plugged in. All the light bulbs must be plugged in and working to operate the flasher for the turn signals. good luck

I check all tail light bulbs and all is good. I check fuses for L/R lights. Brake lights don't work, turn directional lights works fine. What's the problem?

Probably the brake switch above the pedal.

Please see my tip at http://www.fixya.com/cars/r6053280-lights_out_lights_not_out_bulbs_ok . These are generic instructions. If you get stuck or need specific instructions for your car, please get back to me with model, year and engine info.

Could be the break light switch whitch is usually found on the break pedal lever (just above the break pedal)..
If that is it - should be not to hard to replace..

Reverse lights do not work

definately check the fuse, if it is good then you need to check the condition of ground in the light bulb sockets, if good then you will have to check the reverse light switch

Directional problem fuse blown

The bulbs could be ok. That means your car has a short circuit on the left side which is causing the blowing of the fuse every time you intend to switch the left indicator.

Do you own a test light? Check for power at wires behind socket? Clean socket good , check contact spots for bulb & clean any rusty side of the socket with emery cloth, or sandpaper, for good contact also.
