Question about 2004 Chevrolet Colorado
Changed front rotors & pads abs light is on 2004 colorado display says abs fault
2 things, if you BREAK wire on the abs while removing the rotors /hub, that will do it.
if you dont get the ABS sensor in right spot and right distance from hub, you will get abs fault.
its one or both of those, mostly i see broken wire, did you disconnect wire to abs before you removed the hub?

My truck is doing something similar, the abs light came on a few times while driving down the highway displaying fault and traction as well. After awhile I can now feel the abs malfunction and then I hear a ding and it displays the abs fault and traction. I took it in and they said the only thing on the computer was a speed sensor problem. I am going to replace this soon and I will let you know the outcome. Is this the problem you are having as well?
