Yeah, most cars have a programming routine. If it has a transponder key, for instance in some GMs you start it and run it for a specific amount of minutes 3 times in a row then it is programmed. Pop-a-lock is really good at this and is a lot less than the dealer, at least here in Lexington, KY. I can get it done for about 1/3 the dealer cost.

try the web site aboutautomobile.com. they stock about every manual, service, and recall notice there is. I use them for my customers, and recommend the site to them, and I still get the work from them. hope this helps
