Dropping transmission 2002 GMC yukon - GMC Cars & Trucks

Dropping this on the ground is loads of fun. First, you don't have to raise the truck until your ready to pull the transmission out from under it. But you can if you want to. Here we go. Drain the transmission and T case, remove the drive shafts, put a jack under the transmission and lift some. remove the trans mount nuts, remove the cross member. Let the jack down. Remove the nuts for the T case. Jack it back up, pull the T case and secure it with straps to anything in the back, pull it tight and let it hang there. remove the starter, pull it out of the way.let it hang. remove the toque converter bolts. Remove the electrical lines and cooler lines. Remove the bolts from the trans to engine. Pull it out.
