Question about 1989 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer
You need to pop your hood and check your vaccum lines should be by the passenger side should be little tubes and stuff with a TT piece maybe running by your engine or possibly into your firewall.
The distribution of the heat and air conditioning is controlled by vacuum. under hard acceleration, the lack of vacuum to the blend door causes the distribution of air to become mixed up. A spring closes the door door when there is no vacuum. Engine vacuum is used by the heater control to tell the blend door what position it should be in.
also check the control head .
thanks.please do rate the solution.thank you for using fixya.keep updated.
