It could be anything from a few bucks to thousands. It could just be that you need to replace your spark plugs or it could be something much, much deeper. I would start by checking the spark plugs, plug wires and distributor cap. From there it gets more in depth. Thank you for a positive rating but please let me know if you have additional questions before giving a poor rating. Thanks for using FixYa!

Depending on what is causing the misfires, the price can vary from $100 to 4k.
You need to give more info to get an acurrate price range.

Cylinder 1 misfire dodge stratus 2006

if you have a cylinder #1 misfire it could be one of several things. It could be a faulty spark plug, faulty ignition coil, faulty injector or worst case, bad compression in that cylinder. The most likely problem is probably a faulty ignition coil for that cylinder

One way to test that is to swap that coil to another cylinder and see if the miss goes to the other cylinder. If it does then problem solved. Replace that coil

How much will it cost to fix cylinder 2 misfire?

i don't know how match the cost, but it will he you, first change the position of the ignition coil to another coil also the spark plug, read the misfire code is it P032 or replace the code, if on cylinder 2 again appear the misfire check the compression, if ok go to electrical and check wires go and from to cylinder two coil to pcm, check the ground on #2 coil, if all this ok, see the difference reading by multi tester to coil reference if all good, reprogram your pcm, or replace if necessary

I got code PO303 on my 2006 ford freestar i just want to know what i can expect it to cost to fix

A P0303 code is a cylinder #3 misfire code. Usally a tune up, of plugs and wires fixes the problem. Normal cost is about $5 dollars a spark plug, about $85 in spark plug wires and around $100 in labor. So around $200-250 for the tune up. Then you'll need them to clear the check engine light, which may cost a diagnostic fee. If you haven't done a tune up in a while that would be the place to start. The other problem it could be is a fuel injector or a cylinder compression problem but those are unlikely. Hope this helps.

Cylinder Misfires

It could be your spark plugs or a coil. To see if it's a coil move the coil from #5 to #6 the miss will change to that cylinder with code p0306 and change #1 to #3 and see if it changes to p0303. If it does replace all the coils. You change all coil because if one or two go you know the rest are not far behind
