Bring it to the garage ASAP to prevent damage to the system.
because then it becomes very expensive
let them repair the leak.

    I would NOT start to replace items if you don't know where the leak is.

I have a 2002 santa fe ,, i seem to be leaking power stearing fluid ,, i am re-filling it at least 3-5 times per day , could you please give me some idea what the problem could be . thank

Many things can cause this leak but the easiest and cheapest fix would be to check the cover on the refill site. If the refill resevoir is all wet, then your cap may be leaking.

Power steering problems this oil seems to be leaking from the bottom of the car

its either the power steering pipe, or a seal on the power steering rack, be careful driving it beacuse it can lock the steering when your not expecting it. get it checked out asap. either job shouldnt be expensive.

HI check your power steering oil pump reservoir filter screen this seats at the bottom of reservoir is probably plug .it can cause the pump to aerate if thats your case replace reservoir.for proper inspection of reservoir completely empty it and check. hope this helps.

2002 Santa Fe Power Steering leak

Good Day
How much are you adding every 2-3 days? The fluid has to be going some were, to me it sounds like your rack and pinion is gone. I would take your vehicle into a mechanic some were that you trust and have it check out. Having it up on the hoist will be easy to fine the problem. Like I said it could be the rack or maybe there is a small hole in on of the lines. Now the price it could be from 200 - 600 depends on were you go to have it fix. Hope this helps.

Cheers

Leaking power steering fluid

dear friend-it is unclear where the leak can be so i would suggest than you clean of all the oil and turn the steering from left to right a couple of times then pin point the leak.

I would use a brake clean spray can, this will remove oil and dry well. Make sure you have good ventilation.

Power Steering Pump on 01 v6 santa fe

Sure sounds like its low of fluid or the filter is very dirty! My guess is that it works well driving straight open road. Most often the filter is inside the pump. Frankster016
