SOURCE: I have a 2002mercury sable,

P0316 crankshaft position sensor, camshaft position sensor, or a wiring issue. Since this code indicates a start up misfire, pay attention to items which may expand or contract when cold (if the code sets when the engine is cold), or hot (if the code sets on a hot restart).

If you have other misfire codes that pertain to individual cylinders, you should attend to them first P1151 has a huge list of things that it can be, But included in that list is the camshaft position sensor , po1131 is the same thing, all building up to your car is running lean , so I'd do the sensor (cam) and check timing,,

It is located in the central junction box under the dash , F2.26 10Amp. fuse . along with interior lamps relay K333 .
Lamps, Courtesy The interior courtesy lamps are controlled by the generic electronic module (GEM) and are activated by the interior lamp relay. The interior lamp relay coil is grounded by the GEM when:

No break lights wont come out of park

Do the brake lights come on when applying the brakes?
If so then the remote start could be causing the issues or the interlock may have gone bad

Turn signal do not flash or iluminate or work

Check the relay fuss near the fuss box, also check the fuss itself. If this will not work check your wiring harness and lead wiring lines that feeds the tail lights. If the tail lights work along with the brake lights its not a wiring issue its either the fuss or the signaling arm drive relay box on the steering. Also check your 4 way fuse as well

Check engine light code p1400

The code is for differential pressure feedback sensor circuit low voltage detected. The DPFE sensor is used to measure pressure in and out of the EGR valve.
The sensor would need to be checked with a volt meter.

The light sensor to control the automatic headlamps is located on the dashboard. This sensor is suppose to activate running and headlamps. I would suspect the problem is a relay to operate the headlamps if the car uses a seperate relay in the automatic mode. I'm assuming the headlamps work in manual on/off. FYI... The auto mode does not control the fog lamps.

I would recommend replacing your relay. From what you have described your battery might be bad. The clicking you heard is consistent with this. Natuarally though the relay is probably cheaper to fix. Also if you're car was slow to start or was dragging when you were trying to start it, you may have a bad starter, which would cause the aforementioned
